How often does money and fame take over a relationship? We see this issue creating hassles in life of couples quite often. So then it makes you wonder- Is money and fame more important than love and romance?
Love can make you do crazy things and so can money. Money can buy you all the material comforts which love can’t. Love can fulfill your emotional insecurities and brings solace. Nurturing can be comforting but it cannot pay for the food bills or for your other comforts.
The desire to earn more money takes a toll on the relationship many a times. These days both partners are working and come home, tired and at times irritated with
lot of work at office. If children are involved then one has to be home on time, have a sitter and things tend to become unmanageable. This happens when there is lack of sufficient money.
When people are rich, they spend it lavishly. The need is to have the best of everything. The best of things are never enough. Desires are non- ending. In This need to own the extravagant lifestyle, love is never deep. It’s superficial and sacrificial.
One needs to understand the value of one’s life. There is no right or wrong way in doing this. How to love someone and nurture them cannot be taught. It has to come about naturally. A balance is needed in everything-whether it is earning money or being passionate about someone.
Money and fame has a tremendous effect on a person’s ego and that blinds him or her. People who are the earners refuse to become humble and have the innate desire to take control of another because that makes them feel powerful over others. But one day when this power comes crashing down, then it is the love and support of the beloved spouse that can help to recover in life again.
Sadly, this always doesn’t happen and not in every case. Partners do tend to walk away once disrespected.
So make an effort and realize what your priorities in life are. Evaluate your relationship whether you prefer money and fame over love and passion in your life. and then move on in life…..
