 Most men don’t practice “the art of staying single” (read alone). Yeah they do eat pizza alone, watch sports all day and drink with equally lonesome men. But the fact is, they don’t want to be in such situation. At the same time, they are dreaded to even think of walking up to a girl and make a start.
Saw a chick in the bar, Good! Like her, Great! She seems to return your gaze, Amazing! Wish you could have her number? Well you have to look beyond just wanting her number. You have to get her number and then get her!
Walk up to her (don’t forget to carry the infectious smile!), buy her a drink, start a chit-chat, make it interesting, be a little persuasive if she tries to hold back. Ones you have hit the right notes with her, she’ll herself give you her number or better, ask for yours!

 There are a number of ways to give out a phone number without actually giving out a phone number:
1. I’m listed. If you want the person to get in touch, make sure you’ve made the listing clear as it appears in the phone book. In many cases, though, directing someone to the phone book means you’ve given out your home address as well. You can be a bit suaver but if your name is
hard to spell, you may have blown the deal.
2. Business card. A business card usually has a work phone number, often a fax number, a business address, and an e-mail address. If you don’t have a business card, for very little money, you can have one printed up that gives out whatever information you want to share. (You can usually get around 500 business cards for between $15 and $25 or less.) If you are self-employed or work at home, having a business card can make you feel a little more professional as well.
3. Home address. Giving out a home address is a bit risky. Of course, sooner or later, if the two of you hook up, you’re very likely to exchange home addresses. The question is, sooner or later? My advice is later - when you’re sure this is someone you trust to behave respectfully and appropriately after he or she knows where you live. If you have even the most minor inkling that this person may surprise you by lurking on your doorstep, trust your instinct for heaven’s sake, and don’t give out your address.
4. E-mail. For many folks, giving out an e-mail address is a safer alternative than giving out a phone number. Of course, you have to balance your sense of safety and your need for intimacy. I may be old-fashioned, but I think that actually hearing a voice is a nice way to begin to connect with someone.

 So you have met your girl on a date and it seems that she likes you too. This is indeed good news! Now what’s next? How are you gonna keep in touch with her? Well, the answer is as simple as a phone call! Yes, move a step forward, go, and get her number. Hey, wait! Don’t you wanna know how to get her digits with ease? Read on.
Let’s face it- women find it uncomfortable to reveal out their phone numbers to those whom they don’t know pretty well. So, take some efforts. Consider her natural cautiousness. Try to instil her trust in you.
First, you should give your phone number or email address instead of bluntly asking her to give you hers. This is a trick to let her know that you seriously want to stay in touch.
It is time to intensify the dating game. Tell her that you really enjoyed talking to her and you would like to stay in touch. Say something like “Let’s exchange phone numbers so we can keep in touch and maybe get together sometime”.
Next, write your information and give it to her and you can now expect to get the same response. If she reveals out her digits, you are all set. If not, then you need to wait for her to contact you because pressurizing her will spoil the whole game.

 It is very common to meet an opposite sex that you are interested at your workplace. You may be wondering how you can date her out; without making her think that you are too aggressive. I will share with you now what are the ways that you can use to approach this.
1. Get to know her more. Do not be too aggressive at the beginning if you do not get to her at all. Make her feel comfortable being with you around as a colleague first.
2. Make small jokes of her so as to break ice.
3. Whatever things that they tell you, try to remember them. Girls are impresses with guys who pay attention to what they are saying.
4. Make small talk; bring up normal things to talk about. For example, school, movies, or music.
5. Show interest in what they have interest for.
6. Do your research. Ask around to find out whether she has a boyfriend.
7. Ask her for her number. If she gives it to you, it is a good sign.
8. Once you get to know her more, ask her if she would like to hang out (on days off or before/after work).
9. If both of you have a good time while hanging out and she is available, try asking her to be your girlfriend.
10. If she needs more time, do not try to push her too much. Respect her decision and let her think about it. At the mean time, carry on with your life and do not make her think that your life is only revolving around her.
But if you get the chance to have her as your girlfriend, you must be prepared to face her at your workplace if you break up.

 Edgy about calling her for the first time? Remember the ground rules and you will seal the deal!
Ring her in the evening
Strategically that’s the best time; she’ll be outa office, relaxed and the best time to fix up for a lunch date for the next day.
Call her from a place where you are comfortable
Make sure you don’t have any company, otherwise you wont be yourself when you make the call.
Sound good
Women like their men to sound cool and confident. Talk slowly and take your time with your words, make sure you don’t stammer or fumble, she’ll know in a jiffy that you’re nervous .
Engage in good small talk
Shun questions that border on the yawn-kingdom like the weather and politics. The best way to deal with this- talk about her!
Make her laugh
Humour is a quality that has always worked beautifully with girls. Try to drop a few jokes during the conversation to let her know that you have a sense of humour.
