It is important to spend quality time with your loved one but at the same it is also very important to give space to each other. Each of us like to do certain things that our partners may not like and for this we need to give space to each other. It’s not true that if you are together all the time then only your relationship will last longer. The key to a successful relationship is being together and yet giving space to each other. Always encourage each other to do things that each one of you like. Never loose your own identity when you are in a relationship. Too often in a relationship we forget ourselves
and try and imbibe the other person’s likes and dislikes which leads to a compromise and eventually you don’t tend to enjoy your relationship any more. Never deprive yourself of the things you like as you will never be happy with yourself and your relationship. Try and develop interests outside each other.
It is equally important to spent time with your other loved ones. Just because you are in a relationship doesn’t mean that you can’t have friends or spent time with them. If you really want to work on improving your relationship it is it is crucial to remember that you are each individuals and you need your own individual space. You should be able to strike a balance that will work for each individual as well as the relation. Don’t make your relationship monotonous and boring throw in surprises from time to time. It will help you keep your relationship lively and interesting.
You need to discuss with your partner about any ongoing problems in the relationship instead of keeping them within you. Misunderstandings can be avoided through proper communication. It is important to be comfortable with each other in expressing your feelings and views on a particular thing freely. Both of you need to work together to improve your relationship. Both need to be understanding. Always trust your partner. To have a long lasting relationship there has to be trust between the partners. Never assume things about your partner. Always find out the actual thing before reacting.
Giving space to each other doesn’t mean you are getting bored of staying with each other rather it shows your love and respect for each other’s feelings. If you are far from your loved one only then you can miss them and know where actually your relationship stands.
