Make this your best Christmas ever!
![]() |
The most beautiful time of the year has arrived again! Christmas carols, cakes, home made cookies and loads of happiness. It is that time of the year when the air automatically fills itself with merry, paving way for a bright new year, laden with sunshine and seamless journey into a bright future. So let’s take this opportunity to iron out all the differences we have been undergoing in our love life and celebrate Christmas with the spirit it rightly deserves. You know there have been times when inspite of knowing my flaws I wasn’t able to rectify them.
Its said that first you make your habits and then your habits form you. Similar things govern our relationships as well. If we are habituated to something, we keep on doing it because we become a slave to our habits. But what we fail to see in the process is the harm we cause to our bond because of this with our partners.
We fail to see the injury and the hurt we cause to our beloved either because of our anger, our irritability, nonchalance or any other issue concerning us. I understand this could be absolutely unintentional but the loss we levy on our bond is a loss after all. Sometimes words can cause much damage than we can ever fathom.
So let’s take this time of the year to put all our vices and lock them forever and the miseries caused by it as well. I have tried this myself and was completely astounded to see the results and hence it would like all the couples reading this to sincerely go for it once.
The first think you need to do is sit back and think about failures with your partners, if any. Think where you went wrong in your jaunt. Reminisce your past with patience. Think if your attitude was the same with all the people you’ve dated. Have their reactions been the same? Have you been accused of the same things again and again? Have you been ignoring such reactions thinking that people are just not ready to understand you?
You’ll see that things will come back to you in a most sacred way. You’ll be able to see your flaws clearly and the reasons of the events that happened in your life, you weren’t able to understand then. Things will seem much simpler if you once try to understand this. And when you realize the crux of all that happened and why, you’ll no longer blame your partner for not being understanding; you’ll realize how inconsiderate you have yourself been.
So collect all your vices this Christmas and make a firm commitment not to repeat any of these ever again. Make a commitment that you’ll be a better lover, that you’ll lend a ear as much as you’ll want to be listened to, that you’ll not spurt your anger on your partner for petty issues and most importantly be a happy person!
This is the biggest resolve you should make this season! To be happy! Because you’ll see that if you are a happy person, you’ll never want to hurt your partner, someone you love so much, someone you’ve dreamt your life with! Pledge to do justice to it and respect your decision by improving yourself from within!
