Enemies that they may take our lives, but they’ll never take our freedom.”
Does this quote hit you in any way? Does this tell you anything about yourself or the way we have been living passive lives so far?
You know this is my favorite scene in the movie because it’s about living your life to the fullest by doing what you heart is asking you to and not fearing consequences. It’s about living a life without regret! So what’s your choice on this?
I have seen numerous men just fading away into depression for not being able to divulge their true feelings to the women they love because of their inhibitions. Because they feel that they can’t match the confidence of impressing her in the first glance. But does that mean that you do not try at all? Does that mean that you spend the rest of your life regretting the fact that you could have at least approached her once and seen what she had to say? If not, then why do we succumb to mediocrity, my dear? Why do we give up before even trying?
My idea here is to ask you drop all your inhibitions and just goes for it, without thinking what would her response be. So what if she is real hot or a tad too smart for her generation? Why would you think yourself to be any less? I am not asking you to develop some false ego and behave as if you are the best; no! I am only asking you to follow your heart without holding yourself back. To think of the worst, she may turn you down or may laugh at you but that at least won’t leave you regretting that you didn’t try at all.
You know regret is a horrible thing so please don’t force that burden upon yourself. Get up and go for it – believe you me you’ll get to know the real meaning of living life tp the fullest!
