Many guys find their own lives on hold for the woman they want who hangs around them appreciating their friendship. The women on the other hand, would never look at them as anybody else other than “good” or “best” friends.
When a woman meets a guy for the first time, she won’t take more than a few minutes to categorize him. If she files you away in the friendship file, then dude, just forget anything further ‘coz you will be stuck there forever. So, the best suggestion will be to move on and find another girl.

Well, moving on is not that easy in case if you have been secretly pining over for a girl since long. If you really want to have a change in your life, break the silence first. If you want to be more than a handy friend, just be up front about what you feel for her. If she maintains that she doesn’t love you more than just a friend, then why on earth should you hang around her? I hope you are not nuts to still believe that one fine day she will come up to you and realize that she needs you more than just a friend.
So should you break the years’ long friendship? Well, I say that there is no harm in maintaining the friendship with her. However, if you have started harboring feelings for her and keep it in secrecy, you should know that you are not doing justice to either one of you.

The stage of confession to a “friend” is at times a risk. But, you have to make the first move and speak your mind ‘coz the more you delay, the longer you are being unfair to both of you and the longer you are developing sexual fantasies that are less likely to come true. If you wait for that “right time” for confession, the more you are portraying yourself as her faithful little pet. You may even find that you are being used. You will become a handy friend, her shoulder to cry on and her loan department. Do you really want to be treated like that? Think it over.
