Dating Older Woman
It is true love (or attraction) make no distinction when it comes to age. There are many instances thought history where younger men have fallen for the older woman. Maybe the relationships have not succeeded but that was not because of the age gap, but due to the pressures and prejudices of society, family and friends.Â
Even in today’s modern society where anything goes same sex marriages, swing parties, multiple partners, bi-sexuality, the older women younger man scenario still draws disapproval. (Why only the lord knows)
To a young man an older woman holds a great attraction; they are not only attracted to them physically but appeal to them emotionally as well. Maybe it’s because she knows what she wants and is not afraid to ask for it or maybe because she it’s the confident no nonsense attitude she has about the world and you.
While dating an older woman can give you a lot of satisfaction, adjusting to the relationship in fact can take some getting used to.
An older woman will have her own life, friends, and maybe children. So don’t try to hang on to her, have your own life and give her space. Give her time for her friends and spend sometime with your friends. And for gods sakes don’t expect her to look after you (she is not mommy dearest).
Just be yourself, she is dating you because she likes you as you are. Don’t make a fool of your self by acting extra mature, or at times totally immature. Relax be yourself.
Enjoy your differences and introduce each other to your different interests. But don’t force her to do things she is not interested in, she has seen a lot in life and by now knows what she wants and doesn’t want. Also try to find things to do that interest both of you.
Don’t let her success get in the way of your relationship i.e. don’t compete with her in the job arena or money making. If you let your ego rule you will loose her faster than a speeding bullet.
