Dating dislikes are relative things. Every person may have a different perception towards a particular thing. What one may hold in good spirits, for the other person it could cause a split in a relationship. Some extremities may be happily accepted whereas for other even a slight difference may be unbearable. However, I have chalked out some common trends that will stand true for all of us in some situation or the other.
Hygiene!
Yes, hygiene by far stands as the first thing on the list of dating dislikes. Well, this isn’t funny if you may think so. This is so because men often tend to overlook this. Turning up for a date doesn’t mean you simply rake your hair or straighten your T- shirt. Always remember, first impressions count and may be the only impression you leave on the girl so please be very cautious. So before a date, it is best if get yourself to the chemist and then to the bathroom (guys) and sort yourselves out. Shave, wash your hair, scrub yourself well and get suited and booted for the occasion.
This is one of the rare chances you get to shine so make sure you do so with absolute élan. And it is perfectly fine if you are a jeans and T shirt kind of guy. If you take care of the personal essentials, everything else can still take a back seat. What more? Don’t forget to brush your teeth for two minutes at least. Wearing a deodorant and an aftershave is a must. To be precise, use your best stuff you can. You should always have one for you in the offing
Clothes!
Clothes can be big time dating dislikes if the pair you have chosen does not go with the occasion. You want to know what that can be? Alright, I have often seen a good looking girl dressed immaculately with her new man wearing an anorak in a trendy bar, a T-shirt in a restaurant, jeans to the theater. Need I say more? Seeing this does break one’s heart.
The first date is very important. It is your first and last chance to make or break the dream bond you have always been thinking about. So once again it is time for you to sparkle and shine. I am not suggesting you to wear a Gucci or Armani, though it can help on occasions at times. However, it is equally important that you feel comfortable so choose whatever keeps you in best spirits until it is a gothic cloak. So, all in all, a smart casual can be good depending on your date.
There are more tips in the waiting to tell you the must-not(s) of a first date. As important as these essentials are, it is equally important that you keep in mind certain other nitty-gritty’s based on your observation while talking to your girl before asking her out. If she is allergic to strong smells, make sure you wear a mild cologne only.
