Comments Calling for the First Time
![]() |
So you have finally managed to get the digits of the girl you like and want to go ahead to ring her up. Well, we say that making the first call in itself a technique of the dating game! Yes, you don’t want to screw up your chances of getting a second date, isn’t it? Therefore, here we provide you some tips if you are calling for the first time.
The time: Choosing the right time is very essential if you are attempting to call your girl for the first time. You have to be more ‘prepared’ if she has given you her home number. Don’t even think to use the answering machine to leave a message (‘coz only a dumbass will do this!). Play safe. The ideal time to call is when she is done with dinner. In short, calling her up in the morning is a real bad idea!
Dial the number carefully: We don’t have to remind you to DIAL the number carefully, ‘coz you might have already memorized the digits (after all, it is YOUR girl’s number, isn’t it?) However, we still give you this tip. Nothing sounds to be a bigger blunder than dialling a wrong number and the phone being answered by a puzzled female voice.
Be very clear with your introduction: “Hey babes, it’s me. Wassup?” is not at all fit to start your very first conversation with a person who hardly knows you. Instead, consider this “Hi Sarah, this is Eddy, the guy you met last weekend at the mall” this won’t leave her guessing about who is on the other end of the line.
Don’t give her call more than twice: If your girl doesn’t answer your first call, then it may be because she is very busy with her work. If this is the situation, limit yourself to a second message and not beyond that. If she still doesn’t get back to you, then it is quite loud and clear- she is not the girl to hang around!
