Buying a gift for your (new or old) girlfriend can open a can of worms; the wrong gift can end the relationship whereas the right gift can make the bond between the two of you stronger.
To get the right gift you need to be aware of the personality, body language and likes and dislikes of your girlfriend. So before shopping for her gift think about her, what type of person is she, is she an introvert or extrovert, does she enjoy staying at home or is she a party lover, does she enjoy cooking, what are her hobbies. Noticing all this will not only help you buy her a great gift, but will make you the ultimate boyfriend.
Ok so here are some ideas for gifts
For the first time you may try–Candy & sweets, baked goods, dinner at their favorite restaurant, plush animal, t-shirt cap CD, DVD, book, concert tickets or magazine subscription that is geared to their interests.
As you get further into the relationship you can give more personalized items like–A trendy watch or thoughtful jewelry as per her taste a fancy home cooked meal. Perfume, cologne, or a fragrance gift set that suits her taste.
When you become really intimate (and no I don’t mean just physically) you can gift items like a holiday, intimate apparel, expensive jewellery or starting a new hobby together.
A really sentimental gift that’s always been a hit would be a framed collage of memorabilia from 1st date, or a scrapbook of your first year together.
Of course a really fabulous out of this world gift that would have her swooning in delight would be an engagement ring. (take a deep breath guys the last one is just a joke guys).
