Okay let me be precise. What do smart men do when they meet a woman who’s really attractive? Right, they start a logical conversation. First dates are usually a great way to gauge the all important 3 C’s – chemistry, compatibility and communication. After all what matters at the end of the day is the quality and the strength of the relationship that you intend building.
Sound foundation of any relationship should not be based entirely on passion between two people though it may be an important ingredient.

On first dates, it is more important to concentrate on having a good time than to worry about the kiss. The key to a great and successful first date is the comfort that you enjoy with your partner. Most guys expect a lip lock which they would like to end in their beds. However, not everyone is a fan of kissing on their first date. Here are a few suggestions on how you can avoid kissing on the first date.

Your right to say no: First you need to realize that it is completely within your right to say no to being kissed on the first date.

No mixed signals: While out on your date be sure in your mind about what you want. Don’t give him signals that are confusing and might be interpreted in such a manner that is contrary to what you want—no kiss!

Set the rules: You can set the rules at the beginning of the date through your behavior and body language and be consistent the whole time. Don’t flirt with him and or look him in the eyes for too long.

Wear a dark coloured lipstick: In fact, I suggest you wear red lipstick on your first date because guys won’t attempt to kiss you with it on!!!

Remember in order to experience a truly breathtaking first kiss you must do it with someone you really care about. Someone who makes your heart beat faster and your pulse race. Otherwise it’s just another kiss that is unexciting and dull. So do not kiss someone just to say you’ve been kissed. Kiss someone who really means something to you.
