Taking the Vow

Taking the Vow

Today, people are familiar with marriage as the Holy Sacrament of Matrimony. They see marriage as a union of two people who have agreed to live as one and start a family of their own. Marriage is another tenure to which people will be venturing out to a new phase of their lives and while many would find it challenging and exciting, it remains that marriage is more than these things.

For one thing, marriage is another stage of adjustment for both parties. It is entirely different to live in an age of independence where husband and wife have to make it on their own without the help of their parents. This is the ideal way towards married life but for some people, feeling that they cannot make it on their own without support from their families totally defeats the purpose.

We often hear of breakups and misunderstandings. These stem from the fact that they overlook the actual purpose of marriage and the real challenges that they bring. Even if people have known each other for most parts of their lives, all of these are due to change once married life is entered. You see each other everyday and notice the hidden habits which may or may not suit your liking. That is where the trouble starts.

Time management is another issue that normally behests marriages. With one or both working, the whole purpose of working is personal achievement and of course financial support for their daily needs. Many couples also want the attention and quality time from their partners. But given that their worlds will surely vary in the marital stage, these factors of time management are bound to be among the reasons why two people will have differences to settle.

There are plenty of things to consider before tying the knot. Most of them are ideal and easy to listen to. But the reality is that everything becomes entirely different when you are already there and on the verge of implementation. This is where that famous phrase becomes really useful; “Actions Speak Louder than Word”.

First Loves

First Loves

First love are always exciting, passionate and wonderful. First love happens when you are in our teens and has always sweetness. Young love is about passion, energy, even rebellion-think Romeo and Juliet. It happens that we don’t even know the other person very well we’re both caught up in the idea of being in loved. The most happening couples do become fast friends first as well as lovers. Many happy marriages began with a young first love.

Everyone doe not meets their first love when they’re young, but don’t worry because it takes sometimes may be lifetime to choose or to connect your vibes with that person who will become your first love.

There are stories of people in their 50’s falling in real love, true love-for the very first time.

Knowing When It’s True.
Whether you are a teenager or an aged, you’ll want to know whether it’s love before you make a commitment to another person. People who are happily married will tell you, “When it’s real, you just know.” But that doesn’t help if you’re in love for the first time and feeling confused about whether you have a future together.

It confusing to know when love is true?

Look for these elements of a healthy relationship:
You actually attracted and do like each other. Physical attraction is wonderful, but true love means you have fun together.

You respect each other. You don’t belittle each others’ opinions or choices or careers.

You help each other. You should take care when the other is sick. If one person cooks dinner, the other washes the dishes.

You’re equals. You might have different strengths and talents, but each of you admires and respects the other.

You trust each other. You’re both honest about money, about friendships, and about what you want out of life. True love doesn’t have secrets.

You know you can rely on each other. Long-term love survives through illnesses, relocations, job losses, and every other type of stress because the people involved make a commitment to stay together.

When to Let Go
One of the problems with first love is that it can seem like it will never happen again. Even if the relationship isn’t going well, it’s tempting to stay together. You might get worry that you will never again meet anyone who makes you feel such passion. People with more experience of love know that this isn’t true. You can fall in love again. It might even be better the next time. First loves are sometimes the best ones, but they don’t have to be. It’s a very personal decision, and no one can make it for you.

Here are some reasons why it might be time to move on.

You have different goals. When you’re young, you’re try to figuring out what you want out of life as lovers grow in their own lives, they also grow apart.

You fight all the time. The beautiful feelings of first loves sometimes turn into great big messes once the lovers spend more time together. Fighting all the time is a signal that it’s time to re-evaluate.

You’ve drifted apart. Hanging on to a first love can mean being in a long-distance relationship. If you’re young you might be at different colleges, or jobs might take you to different places. As time goes by, you find out that you have less things in common and then you meet someone who fits into your life.
